Programs

Overview

We are pleased to offer the following programs for the 2023-2024 season. Note that a season pass is required which is not included in the pricing below. Prices will increase on Nov 1st.

Dynamite Team - Saturday or Sunday (must choose one or register for both days).

This newly revamped program is for athletes ages 7-10 that are Intermediate skiers and would like an introduction into ski racing. These athletes will be coached on new ski racing skills that will last them a lifetime and learn the first phases of ski racing.

The Dynamites program will now limit participants to one-season in the program, as it is designed as an introduction to ski racing and to determine if your young athletes are interested in pursuing the sport.  The change will allow our first-year Dynamite athletes to begin the development process towards race and will allow our second-and third year Dynamite athletes to move up into our USSS race program (U8-U21) and expand their race knowledge and skills.  In addition to the dedicated Dynamite’s coaching staff, athletes will train with guest coaches from our USSS race program, both to increase the variety of their new skills, and to introduce them to their future coaches.

This team meets on Saturdays OR Sundays from 8:30am to 11:30am starting January 6, 2024, or January 7, 2024, through beginning of March 2024 (weather and race calendar dependent). There will be a Fun Race in March (date TBD) for ALL DYNAMITES regardless if you train on Saturday or Sunday.   Prerequisites for this program: Athletes MUST be able to ride the chair lift alone (including pulling the bar down on their own), ski intermediate terrain confidently and be able to get up by themselves with no assistance if they have fallen. Required and not included: Helmets and a Mount Peter Season Pass.  A Mount Peter Race Club Membership is required for a $40 fee per child and is included in the online price. Limited number of spaces available! Pricing is $690 and includes the $40 Mount Peter Race Club fee. All dates are weather permitting and there are no guaranteed number of weeks. This program will not be held on Martin Luther King Weekend or President's Weekend (1/13/24 or 1/14/24 and 2/17/24 or 2/18/24).

*Unless you have spoken to Jill Di Nola, if your child is a 2nd year or more Dynamites you must register for our U8-U21 race program*
