Mount Peter is located in Warwick, NY 50 miles from Manhattan and is home to the most reliable, consistent, and aggressive alpine racing & development programs in the area. At Mount Peter we care about our young racers ages 6 - 18 and we strive to help mentally and physically develop each young racer into not only a good skier but a young adult that takes what they’ve learned at our mountain and apply it to their own personal goals and ambitions. Ski racing is hard work. At times, it can be humbling. But it is also fun. There is no better feeling for us than to see our kids overcome challenges and perform at their best. And when we can see in their smiles and their eyes that they love the sport as we do then we know that we have accomplished what we set out to do.

Our Mission

At Mt. Peter, we strive to give kids the best chance possible to achieve their goals. We train hard and demand for them to give 110 percent. But our training programs go beyond teaching the skills and techniques of racing. Our goal is for kids to walk away feeling confident, with an understanding of sportsmanship and the knowledge that with hard work and determination they can succeed. We are confident that we will achieve only the best for our kids.

"The Philosophy of the U.S. Ski Team is to create good skiers first, then great Racers" - Jesse Hunt - USST Alpine Director

USSA Vision
The vision of USSA is to make the United States of America the best in the world in Olympic skiing and snowboarding.
